Welcome Bonus – 4/5

Winamax offers new customers a 100% risk-free bonus up to £100. As introductory offers go, this one is pretty generous. Another plus is that you have 3 months with which to spend your bonus winnings. There’s also a new account offer for users that want to test out the poker room. Let’s have a look at these bonuses in detail.
Note: don't forget that if you're brand new to the operator you could qualify for a promotion code. Click here to see if you do.

You have three months in total to fulfil the turnover requirements.
Markets – 4/5
The Winamax sportsbook gets a healthy 4 out of 5 in this category. Football bettors won't be disappointed with the range of leagues you can wager on; including European, national and international tournaments. Here's a taste of some of the other sports on offer:
- Ice Hockey
- American Football
- Winter sports
The bookmaker drops a point for not having the possibility to bet on politics or entertainment. However it does make up for it by having a good range of bonuses which you can use to really test out the site's capacity.
There are also lots of possibilities for betting on different sports too, each of them with regular promotions too. Big tournaments in sports like tennis and golf will come with their own offers so if you're interested in something in particular, then keep an eye out.

Odds – 3.5/5
Winamax receives a fairly standard score for its market average odds. There's nothing exceptional about the bookie's odds overall, however you'll find special promos on important events where they might give a higher payout or some extra bonuses.
All in all, the operator does even out competitively as you can make single bets in several ways online. For football you'll find plenty: double chance, exact score, Man of the Match, score of the first / second half. And more detailed wagers including last goal scorer, winning margins, extra time etc.
When it came to other sports like baseball and tennis, we felt that the odds were lower than market average.
Mobile app: 4/5
For this section of the review, we took a look at Winamax's mobile app for poker. This app is available for both iOS, Android and Windows phone, and is free to download.
Across all of these operating systems the Winamax app is user-friendly and the functionality remains seamless for those experienced in using the desktop version. One of the best things about the app is that it's optimised to use run on minimal data. So there won't be any pricey data bills when you go out of WiFi.
In terms of the game, advanced poker playesr will be able to test their skills in up to 4 tables at any one time.
There's also a sports betting app available to download, but only for iPhone users.
Payment methods: 4/5
Our Winamax review proves that payment methods come up trumps too. Here are the following options for depositing and withdrawing the bookie:
- Credit cards
- Debit cards
- Wire transfer
- eWallets (Neteller, Moneybookers, PayPal)
- Prepaid cards
For deposits, the minimum deposit is £10 for prepaid cards and £15 for other methods. When we were testing out the operator in the review, we found that the time between transactions weren't too long.
Customer Service – 3/5
In our Winamax review the Customer Service category came quite low due to the series of negative comments made by users. There's not a huge amount of ways to reach the bookie, which is the main source of complaint. At present you can contact them via email, fax and post; and there's no specified hours for when you can call. Not a great start.
There's also no mention of Live Chat which makes resolving problems a much longer process.
Live Streaming – 4/5
Winamax gets its form back on track in this review with it's excellent Live Streaming service.
We found you can stream a great deal of the live events with this service and you just need a minimum of £1 in your account to use it. In terms of the scope of events, you can watch as many as the other competitors out there but not more. So a solid basis but nothing instellar.
What gives the service its score of 4 in this Winamax review is the In-Play options. With useful scores and statistics available, you can effectively bet on the go. It also means you no longer have to subscribed to SkySports etc, to view international games like NBA or tennis Grand Slams
Overall Rating – 4/5
Overall, in our Winamax review, this operator gets a solid 4 out of 5.
In terms of the staples that a betting company must have – competitive welcome bonus, good range of markets and live streaming service – Winamax fares pretty well. It's also got a popular app and numerous payment methods that make wagering with them easy.
What brought the bookie down slightly was that the sports betting app is only available for iOS users, and poor Customer Service options. When it comes to contacting the team, there aren't a lot of ways to get in touch – which is slightly annoying if you have a problem that's stopping you from playing.
Here's a summary of our entire Winamax review:
|What we like||What we don’t like|
|Good welcome bonus||Odds are slightly below market average|
|Great poker app||Sports betting app only available for iOS users|
|Continual promotions & offers||Limited contact methods for operator|
