Sky Bet Welcome Bonus: 3.5/5

The welcome bonus at Sky Bet is underwhelming when you consider the massive backing they can get from being a part of the Sky family. New players at Sky Bet can get £20 in free bets after they make a wager of £5. That feels like a small time wager amount and bonus when you consider that they could easily afford to make the same bonus that you would find at other sportsbooks.

If nothing else, it would be nice to see Sky Bet offer their players the chance to earn a percentage of their deposit in the form of a bonus, rather than awarding them a maximum of £20. This seems like a big missed opportunity and results in the loss of some points in this portion of the Sky Bet review.

Sky Bet Betting Markets: 5/5

Betting markets are where Sky Bet shines and is one of the highlights of our Sky Bet review. The site offers action on commonly watched sports like football and tennis, but amplifies the action by offering tons of action on entertainment like Univision and politics, as well as things like athletics and cycling. That rich a selection of sports to bet on means that players should be able to wager throughout the day across a variety of time zones.

The site also offers plenty of markets within each sport, including hyper-specific wagers for each sport in the form of prop bets and futures wagers.

Sky Bet Odds: 4/5

The odds at Sky Bet are fine, although not more favourable than you could find elsewhere. You could certainly do worse than what you find at Sky Bet, though, so there is not a big deduction to be found in this section of our Sky Bet review. When it comes to football betting, for example, Sky Bet offers odds that are on par with other major betting sites, although they have the potential to be slightly less favourable depending on the match.

Of course, how favourable the odds at a given site are depended entirely on what sports and markets you like to bet on. Be sure to do your own research to get a full picture of how the odds at Sky Bet fit in with what you are hoping to accomplish.

Streaming On Sky Bet: 4.5/5

Live streaming is another highlight of our Sky Bet review, as the site has a ton of different sporting events to enjoy. The site has football from around the world, including from some of the top European leagues in the sport. There is also great tennis to watch at Sky Bet, including Grand Slam events that pit the best players in the world against one another for the right to be called a champion. Sky Bet players can also watch horse racing action to top off the selection of live sports that they can enjoy so long as they have a funded account on the site.

Sky Bet Mobile App: 4/5

As far as mobile apps go, the Sky Bet app isn't the best on the market, but it certainly gets the job done and is deserving of praise in our Sky Bet review. There are apps available for both Apple and Android devices, as well as a mobile-friendly version of the site that players can use who are not on mobile devices that are of the Apple or Android variety.

As one would expect, these apps look great and are easy to use, as a result of being from a group as big in name and stature as Sky.

Sky Bet Payment Options: 3.5/5

Surprisingly, payment options are one of the most disappointing parts of the Sky Bet review, as the site has fewer payment options than what you would see at other sites. They accept credit and debit cards from Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro. Also, Solo and PayPal are also options for players to fund their accounts. This is a short list of payment options, as you would like to see more e-wallet options to fill out what already exists on the site.

Sky Bet Customer Care: 4.5/5

Customer care at Sky Bet is one of the best qualities of the site and worthy of a high score in this section of our Sky Bet review. The site offers phone, email, and live chat support. The live chat function is available around the clock, and the phone and email options are also useful. This is one of the benefits of going with a trusted brand in the industry, as they have the infrastructure to provide a positive customer experience.

Our Verdict: 4/5

Sky Bet is a trusted brand in the sports betting world for a reason, as they are a sponsor of different levels of English football. There is a lot to like at Sky Bet, as evidenced by the high score in our Sky Bet review. The site has plenty of live streaming to enjoy, as well as excellent customer service and plenty of betting markets. This site is definitely worth most players' time.

What we like What we don’t like
Lots of live streaming options Poor welcome bonus
Plenty of betting markets Underwhelming selection of payment options
Excellent customer care

And don't forget to take advantage of the Sky Bet promo code that will entitle you to the welcome bonus mentioned above.
