This NetBet review will focus on the various features of the NetBet sportsbook. Following over a decade of operations in the online gambling space, NetBet has developed a competitive service offering, in turn raising its profile among sports bettors in the UK and Europe.

Betting Markets: 4/5
Popular sports such as football, basketball, baseball, tennis and horse racing are covered extensively at NetBet, with wide-ranging markets available for each. The football selection was exceptionally deep, with markets open on leagues and cups in more than 40 countries.
As for nichè options, there was an impressive mix available during our NetBet review, including a good selection of handball markets that extends to 12 domestic leagues across Europe, as well as virtual sports, chess, badminton, Gaelic football and darts. In other words, the NetBet sportsbook offers an interesting mix of mainstream and non-mainstream sports, catering to a variety of betting tastes. Additionally, NetBet offers a cash out feature on single and accumulator bets across all sports, allowing bettors to claim a portion of their winnings before a sporting fixture has finished.
With lower margins than many of the major bookmakers, NetBet backs up its plethora of betting markets with some excellent value on odds. Given the company's heavy focus on the world game, it was unsurprising to see the odds offered on domestic and international football stand up to the major players, but what was even more impressive was that NetBet edged the likes of William Hill and Bet 365 across US sports. With baseball season is in full flight, we focussed heavily on the MLB during this NetBet review, and the company won hands down over its rivals on head-to-head, run line and total runs MLB markets. Additionally, NetBet offered good value on the NHL and NBA playoffs.
Live Betting & Streaming: 3.5/5
As just mentioned, NetBet is yet to offer a live streaming service via its sportsbook, although it makes up for that somewhat through comprehensive in-play betting options. At the time of writing our NetBet review, a large array of in-play football markets was open, covering international friendly fixtures, as well as league and cup action from all over the world, including Colombia, Peru and Iceland. It didn't end with football, either, as extensive tennis, baseball, basketball, handball, snooker and volleyball live betting markets were also open. A live schedule, available on the website and mobile app, also proved to be a handy feature that details both current and upcoming events with open in-play markets.
Mobile App: 4/5
NetBet's sportsbook app, available on iOS and Android, makes for a great betting companion when on the go, featuring the comprehensive markets and in-play betting options that are available on the website. One of the most useful features of the app, this NetBet review found, was a live match tracker that gives in-play bettors detailed stats in real time right at their fingertips. Additionally, NetBet regularly offers its customers mobile-specific promotions, rewarding them for betting through their smartphone or another mobile device. In order to catch up with rival apps, however, NetBet urgently needs to add live streaming to its website and mobile platforms.
Payment Options: 4/5
|Payment method||Minimum deposit||Transaction fee||Processing time|
|Bank wire||No limit||None||Immediate|
|Bitcoin||£10||None||Up to 30 minutes, depending on Bitcoin processing time|
|Bank transfer||£10||None||1-14 working days|
While both deposits and withdrawals come fee-free, NetBet has earned a bad reputation for slow withdrawals. We found this reputation to be justified during our NetBet review. For example, e-wallets, which are generally among the fastest withdrawal method at other bookmakers, can take between 2-4 days to reach a customer's account. On the flip side, NetBet has become the UK's first licensed gambling site to accept Bitcoin payments, allowing its customers to deposit and bet with the increasingly popular cryptocurrency.
Customer Service: 4/5
|Contact method||Live chat||Telephone|
|Access details||Head to ‘Help Centre' from the main page of website or mobile app||+44 203 289 email@example.com|
|Availability times||08:00 to 23:00 (GMT+1)||12:00 to 20:00 (GMT+1)||08:00 to 23:00 (GMT+1)|
While not available around the clock, NetBet's customer service is renowned as some of the best industry, complete with quick response times across email, phone and live chat. The phone service, however, is only available for eight hours a day, which is a letdown. Yet, regardless of the contact method used, knowledgeable and courteous representatives are on hand to help. Additionally, the FAQ sports section, available on the website and mobile app, addresses common question relating to accounts, bonuses, betting markets and registration.
Overall Rating: 4/5
An in-depth selection of both mainstream and nichè sports markets, coupled with good in-play betting options and an impressive mobile app, adds up to a strong service offering. While improving the slow processing of withdrawals is urgently required, the pros certainly outweighed the cons during our NetBet review, making for an enjoyable and recommended betting experience.
