Welcome to our NetBet app review, where we will look at the mobile betting experience at one of Europe’s most innovative sports betting sites.
NetBet recently revamped its mobile app and has come up with a handy wagering tool that allows users to seamlessly browse markets and place sports wagers on their iOS and Android devices. Here is a breakdown of our scores for the NetBet mobile app.

• This will download and store the application file (NetBet.apk) on your device

*Android users should note that the NetBet mobile app is not available on the Google Play store because of Google’s ban on mobile betting apps. As such, NetBet hosts and distributes its own Android app, which can be downloaded and installed via the steps above. Android users can also download the app via Amazon apps.
Our NetBet app review found the system requirements of this app quite reasonable and in line with similar apps on the market. NetBet mobile is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, and takes up a meager 1.4MB of space on any iOS device. Apple users simply need to ensure they have iOS 10.2 or later for the app to work.
As for Android, the app will take up 5.7MB on your device, and is compatible with Samsung Galaxy smartphones from the S2 onwards, as well as the all Galaxy tablets. The Android app also works on a variety of Sony Ericsson, Motorola, LG, Google and HTC mobile devices.
Bonus available and how to get it
Welcome bonus: 50% first deposit bonus up to £50
Newcomers to the NetBet sportsbook are greeted with a welcome offer that matches their first deposit by 50%, up to £50. Rollover requirements need to be met before the promo code is awarded, however. These requirements state that customers must wager the sum of their first deposit on sports bets with odds of at least 3/5 (1.60), and settle these bets within 30 days of their first deposit.
Once the qualifying bets are settled within the required timeframe, the welcome bonus is credited to the account. A maximum £50 bonus is quite competitive, yet some customers may be dissuaded by the fact that the bonus is not credited immediately following the first deposit. Nevertheless, the rollover requirements are reasonable, and customers can quickly earn their free funds. We also encountered a mobile-only offer during our NetBet app review that is elaborated upon below.
Actions, services, available options
NetBet mobile features the same extensive pre-match and in-play sports markets available on the browser-based exchange. All of these markets, along with handy features such as real-time schedules, match previews and predictions, are packaged in a simple interface that makes for seamless navigation and quick betting. Users can easily access their account details from the main page of the app, allowing them to check their balance and deposit or withdraw funds without the often laborious, multi-step process encountered at other apps.
While the NetBet app doesn’t feature any live streaming on account of NetBet not owning any sports streaming rights, in-play markets are adorned by live scores and important match information that make in-play betting more enjoyable through the app. Users also have the option of controlling their bets as they unfold by selecting the ‘Open Bets’ tab; from there, they will be able to partially cash out bets before the event is complete.
1.How can I bet using the app?
Log into your account. From the main screen, choose your preferred sport, ‘Live’, ‘Upcoming’, or ‘Highlights’ to see the various markets. You can also consult the calendar from the main menu in the top left-hand side of the screen to place wagers on events well in advance. Once you have accessed your sport and preferred market, select the bet type and choose the stake. If you want to continue navigating markets before placing the wager, the betting slip will hold your bets until you are ready to submit.
2. How can I manage payments using the app?
Select the menu option at the top left-hand corner of the main screen and hit ‘My Account’. From there you will be able to withdraw and deposit funds.
3. Are there other apps available from NetBet?
No. The NetBet app encompasses both the sports exchange and the NetBet online casino through one app. Users wanting to play the online casino via NetBet mobile can simply select ‘casino’, which is located at the top of the screen alongside the different sports.
4. Is there a mobile-specific bonus available?
Yes. Betting via the NetBet mobile app entitles users to a free £10 bet once they have placed their first mobile wager. To earn the bonus, users must place a minimum £10 bet from their mobile device on any sporting event with odds of at least 3/5 (1.60). The £10 free bet will be credited into the user’s account within 24 hours of their first mobile wager being settled.
There was much to like during our NetBet app review, with user-friendliness and a mobile-specific bonus chief among the positives. The NetBet app keeps things simple in terms of design and layout, which is a plus for bettors that want to peruse markets efficiently and place bets with a few simple taps. While NetBet could work on making its welcome bonus immediately available and expand its app to Windows Phone users, the overall product remains strong.
