Bet365 review by Betminded

Welcome to our Bet365 review. Bet365 is globally renowned in sports betting circles, and we have cast our eye over its welcome bonus, various sports markets and odds, mobile app, live streaming and customer service to see how the sportsbook stacks up against competitors. The table below details our ratings for the various products and services we tested.

Welcome offer: Bonus up to £200

Bet365 welcome bonus

The joining offer we encountered during our Bet365 review rates among the most generous available in the sports betting industry. The offer allows customers to claim a 100% bonus on their first deposit, up to £200, with a minimum deposit set at £10.

The sum of the bonus is as large as you will find at any sportsbook. With such a generous welcome offer, there are of course some key terms and conditions to note. In this case, they are quite extensive, which somewhat dampens our enthusiasm for this particular bonus. The terms and conditions include customers needing to make their first deposit of at least £10 within seven days of signing up, along with 3x turnover requirements that must be met within 90 days of the bonus being received. Finally, each qualifying bet must be at odds of at least 1.50; otherwise, it will not count toward the turnover requirements.

Betting markets: 5/5

bet365 offers 2017

You don’t develop a world-renowned sportsbook without offering a smorgasbord of betting options for customers. The range of markets in our Bet365 review was outstanding, with the full spectrum of mainstream sports available, coupled with exotic markets that can include the Academy Awards and political events. The breadth of markets in football, in particular, is unrivaled, with in-depth markets on anything from the English Premier League to lesser-know competitions across Asia and Africa.

Odds: 4/5

Overall, Bet365 offers hugely competitive odds across mainstream sports such as tennis, basketball, baseball, and golf, along with good value in horse racing markets and longshot plays. But, for a company that prides itself on an outstanding football offering, which it undoubtedly pulls of across other aspects of its service, our Bet365 review found its football odds to be lacking somewhat.

While this shortcoming is a surprise, there are value-filled odds to be found elsewhere, including exotics such as eSports and futsal.

Mobile app: 4.5/5

Bet365 on mobile

Slick, fast, and easy to use, Bet365's mobile platform, available on Android and iOS, ticks all the right boxes. The outstanding live streaming console that we elaborate upon later in this Bet365 review is also available through the app, as is the extensive range of pre-game in in-play betting sports markets, which can be easily accessed thanks to the app's smart design.

Live betting & streaming: 4.5/5

Bet365 live streaming

This Bet365 review found both the live sports streaming and in-play betting options available to customers to be among the best aspects of Bet365 as a whole. The betting interface of both the website and mobile app often resembles a television screen, such is the comprehensive amount of live streaming options available.

Streams include an abundance of football, tennis, horse racing and US sports, adding up to over 40,000 live events per year in what is undoubtedly the largest range of sports streams offered by any bookmaker in the world. The vast majority of streams are free, although customers in the UK must stake a £1 wager on a horse race in order to access vision of thoroughbred and harness racing. This is a slight let down as customers in Australia, for example, get horse racing streams for free.

Bet365 also boasts an enormous in-play offering that adds another dimension to its service, while the cash out feature, which allows bettors to take a return before an event has finished, is also a handy perk.

Payment options

Payment methodMinimum depositTransaction feeProcessing time
Credit/debit card£5N/AInstant
Skrill£5N/A Instant
Wire transfer£10N/A1-3 banking days
Apple Pay£5N/AInstant
cheque£100N/A5-28 banking days

Our Bet365 review also scrutinised the various payment methods available and, put simply, you're unlikely to find a more wide-ranging list at any other sportsbook. The minimum deposit sums are all reasonable aside from cheque payments, while there are no fees on any method. Regardless of how you pay, your betting account will be credited instantly, unless you utilise bank transfer and, again, cheque. Withdrawals also come without fees, but their limits vary. A handy bonus is that all withdrawals can be executed through the same method that was used to fund the customer's Bet365 account.

A courteous, professional and well-informed customer service team impressed us during this Bet365 review. Better yet, they are ready to help 24/7, offering around the clock availability that few rivals can match. There are seldom queues on the phone line, while live chat connects you with a representative within minutes.

Email response times vary but are generally addressed within 24 hours. Bet365's FAQ section, which can be easily located on the website and mobile app, is also comprehensive and will often save the need to reach out to customer service directly.

Overall rating: 4.5/5

We came across a host of positives during this Bet365 review, with the wide-ranging betting markets, outstanding live streaming service and customer support the standouts. A generous welcome offer valued up to £200, which can be unlocked by using the Bet365 bonus code and making a qualifying deposit within the first seven days of sign up, gives you another reason to give Bet365 a chance.
